Seasonal beauty, autumn and snows cenes are my particular favourites, but rolling hills, river banks, dry stone walls, stone buildings, dramatic skies, boats and the sea will feature in many of my paintings.
Whether I am in the Peak District or on the East coast there is always the proximity of water, with reflections and dancing light flickering on the surface.
These aspects have always fed into my subject matter and provided me with the all important inspiraton to paint.
As an artist my work is trying to express what I see.
For me drawing and painting is the basis of all visual language, a way of seeing and observing nature that otherwise you might overlook.
